Q: What is a "Joomler"?
A: Joomlers are volunteers that contribute to the Joomla project.
Q: I do see my Joomler profile, but I don't have an account?
A: As soon as you register on this website any existing Joomler profile will be matched. After registration you can edit your own Joomler profile.
Q: How can I edit my Joomler profile?
A: Make sure you have registered on the website, then log-in and go to your own Joomler profile. Click on the "Edit Profile" button at the right top of your Joomler profile to edit.
Q: Is the list of all Joomlers complete?
A: Not yet. The volunteer portal launched on November 10. More people are creating Joomler profilies daily, but the overview is not complete yet.
Working Groups
Q: My team/working group is missing. Can it be added?
A: Yes, please contact Sander Potjer. Thank you for reporting a missing group in advance!
Q: How can we edit the working group information?
A: Team Leaders and Team Liaisons can edit the group information by clicking on the "Edit Group" button at the right top of the working group page.
Working Group Members
Q: I am a group member of a working group, how can I be listed as group member?
A: Make sure you are registered on this website as a Joomler. Then ask your team leader or leadership liaison to add you to the group member page.
Q: Who can manage the group members?
A: Team leaders and leadership liaisons can manage the members of a working group.
Q: I want to add a group member, but he/she is not in the list of Joomlers
A: In that case the Joomler hasn't registered on this website yet. Ask them to register, after that you can add them to the group.
Q: A team member leaves the team, how can I remove the group member from the member list?
You can edit the group membership of the Joomler. If you set the "Date Ended" date the Joomler will be placed on the "Honor Roll" tab instead of the active group member list.
Q: Are all working group member overviews complete?
A: Not yet. The volunteer portal launched on November 10. Working groups are currently making the overviews complete.
General
Q: Is the volunteer portal completed?
A: No. The first version of the volunteer portal is now released. On a very regular basis updates will be rolled out which will introduce new features that will support better collaboration of the working groups, group members and Joomlers and will provide more insights in our community. The exact roadmap, that is open for feedback & suggestions, will be published soon.
Q: Where can I report bugs & feature request?
A: The volunteer portal code will be published on Github soon, open for community contributions. Please contact Sander Potjer for bugs & feedback at this moment or join the public volunteer-portal channel on http://glip.com
